HOW WE WORK / OUR PROCESS

From concept
to creation.

A considered process combining creativity, technical preparation and responsible production decisions.

Prepare a project brief

POARE / CONCEPT STUDY
01

Inquiry & discovery

Share the garment, audience and purpose you have in mind. Proposed quantities, reference details, budget considerations and timing help establish a useful starting point.

02

Design & technical planning

Explore the design direction, construction, patterns and specification requirements. The agreed brief becomes a practical plan for development.

03

Material assessment & sourcing

Review condition, performance, dimensions, availability, hygiene and intended use. Consider suitable surplus and conventional material options.

04

Pattern development & prototyping

Prepare patterns and samples where the scope requires them. Physical development helps assess proportion, construction, fit and material compatibility.

05

Review & approval

Review the relevant sample, design details and specifications. Record revisions and obtain approval before the next agreed stage.

06

Production

Schedule accepted custom or small-batch work around approved specifications, available materials and production capacity.

07

Quality control & finishing

Check relevant dimensions, seam quality, decorative applications, finishing and alignment with the approved requirements.

08

Delivery & follow-up

Arrange delivery according to agreed terms. Review feedback and retain the relevant project information for any future development.

BEFORE WE BEGIN

A little more clarity.

How long does a project take?

Timing depends on design complexity, materials, quantity, sampling and the production requirements. A schedule can only be confirmed after assessment.

Does every project need every stage?

No. An embroidery panel, an alteration and a new collection have different requirements. The accepted scope defines the relevant stages and approval points.

When is a project confirmed?

An inquiry is not an accepted order. Scope, costs, approvals, payment arrangements and timing need to be agreed before work begins.

AN INVITATION TO CREATE

Your idea deserves
thoughtful development.

A custom garment. A new collection. A different way to work with textiles.
Let’s begin with what you have in mind.
